Besides accelerating decarbonization and combatting climate change with green energy, Ventus has committed more than $2 million to ecology, community and cultural initiatives in the Waitomo district from our first New Zealand wind farm.

Protecting native avifauna such as Pekapeka tou-roa – the New Zealand long-tailed bat – is a critical responsibility for all of us. That’s why Ventus is funding bat research and supporting initiatives to make New Zealand predator-free.
