Taumatatotara is a greenfield utility-scale onshore wind generation project which is consented to produce approximately 131,000 MWh of renewable electricity each year and is available for acquisition.
The wind farm is located on pastoral farmland 10km south of Taharoa Village and above the Taumatatotara Gorge in the Waitomo District.
